All Middle school youth and their friends are invited to come out to Mechanicsburg Drive-in for a fun night prior to school starting. Meet at LOL at 7pm. Movie has yet to be announced yet, it will be PG and we will watch the first movie of the double feature only. The movie will begin at dark and pick-up time for parents at LOL is 12midnight. On Saturday August 28th at 6pm, we will have a kickoff pitch-in to the new school year at Lord of Life. All congregational members and their friends are invited. There will be kickball and other fun activities. Bring a dish to pass and come out for a night of fun! |

With the elimination of the Director of Youth and Young Families position with Eric's departure, the Administrative, Elders, and Vision Board are proposing that the congregation initiate the appointment of three stipend volunteer position for Young Families Ministry, Youth Families Ministry, and Young Adult ministry to work with pastor over the next 1 ½ to 2 years to help carry on with our ministry needs. Job descriptions are available in the office. If you are interested in one of these positions, contact Pastor Tim. |

Parent meeting: Wednesday, August 4 @ 7:00—informational meeting for all parent with youth in the confirmation program
Confirmation Retreat: Friday, August 20- Saturday, August 21 – Growing and Living Faith classes are headed to Flat Rock River YMCA Camp for a weekend of faith, fun and fellowship! |
