Starting on September 12th we will be introducing kids, ages 4 years old through 1st grade, to pint sized worship time. On the second and fourth Sunday of every month, during the sermon portion of the late service, kids will be able to experience worship time designed with them in mind. High energy, spirit filled music and messages geared just for them!

L.I.F.E. Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study to Resume Sept 7th |

L.I.F.E. (Ladies in Fellowship Encounters) is a large group teaching, small group discussion Bible study experience. It will begin its weekly Tuesday morning Fall Session on September 7th from 9:15 until 11:00 a.m. Pastor Tim will take participants through a study of the of the book of Daniel. Begin thinking of a friend or neighbor that you could invite. |

Saturday, August 7th, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. We are using the study, "Redeeming Failure." Join us and bring a friend. |

We are combining the five sessions of the Growing Faith class (basic teachings and beliefs of the Christian faith) with the five sessions of the Living Faith class (becoming a fulfilled and involved members of Lord of Life) into five two hour sessions. We plan to hold them on Thursday evenings, beginning on Thursday, Sept 2nd in the fellowship area. This is an experience designed for both those who have been away from the Christian faith or who are joining us from another Christian church. This series of classes is part of an entry process designed to lead to full participation and membership at Lord of Life. No prior Bible knowledge is required and all materials are provided. If you are interested in participating, contact Pastor Tim. If child care is needed, it will be provided upon request. |

New Member Mentors Being Sought |

Shepherding our new members at Lord of Life is one of our important special care ministries. Couples and individuals are assigned to serve as "mentors" to shepherd our newest members over the first 6 to 12 months of their initial time with us. We are looking to recruit and train a dedicated group of mentors. This would involve quarterly training and a two year commitment. If you are interested, contact Alishe Dobberstein @ 848-5013. |
