Service Opportunity with Habitat for Humanity

While many find it hard to believe that Hamilton County, Indiana has a population of families living in substandard or inadequate housing, statistics show that there are more than 12,000 households in our county that fall into this category.

Habitat for Humanity Hamilton County (HHHC), Indiana is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity

International. Our affiliate operations were incorporated in May of 1990. We rely strictly on

community contributions and volunteer support.

Since that time, they have built 50 new houses and refurbished 15, which provide secure homes for over 175 family members throughout the county. The goal is to increase the number of homes built each year.

But more importantly, they have helped change the lives of those families by restoring their hope. They have moved them into clean, decent, affordable housing. Their children will not shiver through another winter night and they will not need to worry about their landlord not making needed repairs to their home. They are now homeowners and partners in their communities.

At Lord of Life we have an amazing opportunity to help with wonderful organization. On July 24th we are looking for 20 volunteers from 8:30-4:30 to help finish a home in Noblesville. Check out the ministry board in July for all the details!!
