Since 1999, the United Way has teamed up with Central Indiana organizations to provide school supplies for students who can't afford them. This is a great opportunity for Lord of Life to "Be the Church" in Indiana. We will be collecting school supplies through Sunday, July 18. Requested supplies are listed below. Bring your supplies to the collection area in the fellowship area.

Trinity Lutheran Installs Japanese Missionary |

The Rev. Jun Takagi will be Installed as Missionary at Large to the Japanese for the Japanese Mission Society (JMS) at Trinity Lutheran Church & School on June 27th during the 11:00 A.M. service. Pastor Takagi and his wife Faith will reside on the south side of Indianapolis, while his ministry will stretch throughout the upper Midwest. Pastor Tom Going, former missionary in Japan and present JMS missionary, will be preaching. Trinity's pastor, John Herfurth, will officiate at the Installation. Members of the JMS Board of Directors, the Board of Elders of Trinity, and the Japanese congregation of Trinity will participate in the Installation. Please pray for Pastor Takagi and for the mission of JMS, that the Holy Spirit will work powerfully in and through their service. |
