In May we move into our new building! We will have opportunities to request funds from Thrivent for service projects. If you are interested in helping but are not a Thrivent member you can become an Associate Member for $10 a year. The more members we have with Thrivent the easier it will be receive funds. Have you noticed all the sections of our new workstations and cabinets in the West Wing? Dave Reed, a member at Carmel Lutheran, and several members from LOL have been working on these. Mr. Reed is also going to be making us some cabinets and library shelves for the new building. If any one has skills in woodworking and would like to help with this project please let Jeanine or Rich Collins know, they’ll add you to the list of helpers!

Thrivent has helped out with this project so far. We received a little over $1,000 to help with the materials in 2008. We received more $$’s in January 2009 that we can request to help finish this project.
